I am honoured to serve our Nation through the united strength of our Network (MPAN). I have been determined to modify the challenges towards the opportunities depending on the possible and favourable situations of our country. I fully believe that the utmost co-operation of members is highly valuable. I will try hard to achieve our organizational goals so that our Nation get well developed through the Public Administration.

Vision,Mission,Objectives

VISION
The more professional and international the public administration, the better the governance and the government are. The better the governance and the government, the better the public life is. i.e Better administration, better life.
MISSION
•    Organizing the MPA family, members of MBA, M.DEV; and others of Institute of Economics and then to the public.
•    Fund raising, controlling and monitoring.
•    Research and Development activities for knowledge power.
•    Search and hunt and grant to need of peoples and members. All the missions must be through “committee-wise ‘’ manner and “agree to disagree ‘’ approach.

 
 

YANGON UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS

yueYangon University of Economics began as the Department of Economics under the University of Yangon in 1924. In 1940, the Department of Economics began teaching Commerce as a special subject. Special courses in Statistics were given by the Department of Economics in 1953. Then in 1955, as separate Department of Commerce was established and in 1956 a separate Department of Statistics was established.

In 1964, The Institute was founded as an independent tertiary institution composing of three academic departments; Department of Economics, Department of Commerce and Department of Statistics. In 1966, a separate Research Department was created.

 
 

MPA Programme Design

Keeping abreast of new administrative development and demands of the country, the Yangon University of Economics has been offering, since the year 2000, a graduate programme leading to a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree. This programme is designed for persons from a variety of academic and professional backgrounds, for policy makers and personnel, who are dealing with public affairs or nonprofit management, who expect great responsibility in public administration.
